You have the skills for the job. But in English, you don’t sell yourself the way you should.
English is the working language of international business, and a growing number of professionals operate in it daily. Yet many qualified candidates either avoid applying for English-speaking roles or perform well below their actual professional level once they’re in the interview room. You know your job, you have the skills, but in front of a native English-speaking recruiter, you search for words, you translate from your own language, and you lose the confidence you naturally have in your mother tongue.
The good news: it can’t be improvised, but it can be prepared. Our English interview preparation classes are real simulations with a native teacher who knows the codes of English-speaking recruitment. In just a few sessions, you’ll have the right answers, the right register and the confidence to convince.
- Interview simulations under real conditions with a native teacher
- Immediate correction of your answers, natural rephrasing
- Vocabulary tailored to your sector and your role
- Written feedback after every session
- Transparent pricing, first trial free with no commitment
A British or American recruiter doesn’t run interviews the same way recruiters do at home
English-speaking recruiters don’t assess the same things you might be used to. In many European countries, qualifications, formal credentials and a certain level of distance are valued. In English-speaking interviews, what makes the difference is hands-on experience, soft skills and the ability to express yourself naturally. They’ll call you by your first name, start with small talk, and your answers will need to be direct and structured, not a translation of what you’d have said in your own language.
Your native teacher explains these cultural codes, teaches you how to integrate them, and has you practise until they become second nature.
- Soft skills vs qualifications: how to highlight your background
- Small talk, first names, informal register: the English-speaking codes
- Direct and persuasive answer structures (STAR method)
- Salary negotiation in English: vocabulary and phrases
The must-know questions, your sector, and everything that’s holding you back
English interviews follow a predictable structure. Your teacher works with you on the questions you’ll actually face, and helps you build clear, fluent and convincing answers — not a script learned by heart, but phrasings you’ve made your own.
- Tell me about yourself: your professional pitch in 2 minutes
- Why do you want to work here?: motivation and knowledge of the company
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?: honest and strategic
- Where do you see yourself in five years?: ambition without arrogance
- Why are you leaving your current job?: rephrasing positively
- Do you have any questions for us?: the right questions to ask
- What are your salary expectations?: negotiating without underselling yourself

How many sessions do I need to be ready for an English interview?
It depends on your level and the date of the interview. Generally, 3 to 5 sessions cover the typical questions, the vocabulary for your sector and simulations under real conditions. If you have little time, 2 intensive sessions focused on simulation already deliver concrete results. Your teacher assesses your level during the free trial session and advises you on the optimal number of sessions based on your timeline.
My interview will be partly in my own language and partly in English. Can you prepare me for this format?
Yes. The mixed-language format is the most common for international roles in European companies. Your teacher prepares you specifically to switch between languages, present your background fluently in English, and answer questions in English without losing track of your argument.
I speak English fluently but I lack ease when speaking in a professional context. Will this help me?
Yes, that’s exactly the most common profile among our interview preparation students. You don’t need to start over from the basics. We work directly on the precision of professional register, the structure of your answers, and confidence under pressure when speaking — which general English classes don’t cover.
What’s the difference compared to the Wall Street English Job Interview Pack?
At Wall Street English, the pack includes preparation on their multimedia platform and 3 coaching sessions. The first contact is via a sales consultant, with no displayed price on their website. At Break Into English, you book directly online, the first trial is free, the price is transparent from your first visit, and your teacher is a native speaker trained in-house — not a CELTA or TEFL holder hired as a freelancer.
How does an interview simulation with a BIE teacher work?
The session takes place on Zoom, Teams or Google Meet. Your teacher plays the recruiter and runs the interview in English. After each answer, they correct, suggest more natural phrasings and have you rephrase. At the end of the session, you receive written feedback with your strengths and the points to work on before the interview.
